Tracy's Educational Background

Tracy Graduated from San Jose State University in 1995 with a Bachelors in Science in Physical Education and Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training.  While studying for her Athletic Training Credential she worked with football, softball, basketball, track & field, wrestling and baseball teams.  Tracy was awarded best student trainer at West Valley College.  She then became credentialed as a certified Athletic Trainer and a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  It was from there that she went to Fresno State University where she completed her Masters in Physical Therapy graduating in 2000, Magna Cum Laude.

While in PT school, Tracy served as President of her class and was awarded the Stuart Katzman award for achievement.  For her graduate project, Tracy's research group compared the effects of traditional/ low tech balance training techniques to using specialized Smart Balance Master and Balance Master/ high tech equipment.  Tracy's group also compared improvements in the balance between the elderly population and neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis.  Since graduating from PT school, she continued her education with an emphasis on manual therapy at Michigan State school of Osteopathic Medicine continuing education curriculum.  

Tracy went on to start her own physical therapy practice, Individualized Physical Therapy, Inc., in Morgan Hill, Califormia.  Since Tracy opened her doors, she has won Morgan Hill's Best Physical Therapist award multiple times and was inducted into the Morgan Hill Hall of Fame for businesses for winning this acheivement consecutive years.
